Welcome!

As a South African Clinical Psychologist, my journey has taken me across the globe, living in diverse countries such as Germany, Zambia, Tanzania, and Vietnam. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the complexities of expatriate life and transitions. Having personally navigated the challenges of adapting to new cultures and environments, I bring a unique perspective to my practice.

I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, panic, low self-esteem, stress management, grief and loss, and relationship issues. I am also particularly passionate about working with neurodiverse individuals and recognizing their unique strengths and challenges.

In our work together, you’ll not only get a therapist but someone who truly understands what you’re experiencing. I am here to sit with you in the uncomfortable moments, help you process your emotions, and empower you with the tools to manage these difficult situations in the future.

My Appraoch?

In our sessions, I draw upon a blend of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. Together, we work collaboratively to identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and develop more adaptive coping strategies. I use an integrative approach, tailoring techniques and theories to best suit the unique needs of each individual.

Therapy with me is…..

  • Shining light on and celebrating the strengths you have and what is already working.

  • Everyone is different. I work to create a therapy experience that is meaningful to you. We collaborate about what is going well in therapy and how we can change things to make it even better.

  • Meeting you where you are today and helping you journey to where you want to be. Everyone is welcome and everyone is worthy. I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist and I strive to be anti-racist in and out of the therapy room.

  • I sincerely believe that we are all doing the best we can in any given moment. I believe therapy should be a judgment free zone so you can feel safe to explore your story.

  • We have all had moments that overwhelmed our ability to cope - that is trauma. Trauma-informed means being aware of how these experiences impact us holistically and responding in a way that prevents further harm.

I will acknowledge and honor your personal experiences by meeting you where you are in your journey. Together, we’ll explore and process the struggles you’re facing while developing the tools and understanding to work through them going forward..
